Agreed. He still comes across as being incredibly pompous.

The terrain-based shots look OK from a distance, but no better than you'd see in any satellite image.

And the city-based shots at ground-level look terrible compared to Google Maps.
 
Would that be due to the laser point coverage? The further an object from the device the fewer points hitting.
