Caught a voice in my house on a digital recorder

i love derren brown he is just epic trolling all the fruit cakes who buy in to this stuff he even explains how he does most of it people still will not believe its just rubbish

OT - I do sometimes get strange high pitch noises and what feels like crazy atmospheric pressure drops - both which I can feel descend very rapidly. Would love to have equipment to measure it properly.

It's the ghost of R. Dean Taylor*.

*I know he's not actually dead, it's just the first thought that came into my mind on reading the thread title.

I can't believe I've spent 10 minutes in Soundforge Pro with this and the more I mess with it the more it sounds like a dog panting for a treat.

Anyway, where are your thermal imaging ghosts?

thanks for that link , i heard all the evps that guy caught very cleary, why can only some people make out what there saying and others cant?

It's like seeing jesus in toast. Some choose to believe they can see the image of Christ, other's just want to eat toast.

My pleasure. Did you miss the part where the sound expert advised that he use a decent recorder because the sound he's ppicking up is just rubbish noise?

We can all make out what they're saying because we make ourselves hear words because that's what we're expecting to hear, there's nothing to it other than that. He's basically translating electronic noise into apparent voices, and is wasting his life.

That is seriously what confuses you. The fact that a bunch of impressionable people looking for proof of ghosts hears what they want to hear instead of what is actually there. Seeing how there are millions of sounds and words knocking about, its not too much of a stretch to imagine that some noise sounds like voices if you try hard enough.

Nothing about the paranormal industry has any credibility. No one has ever ever ever proven anything paranormal exists and why on earth do the "spirits" never make any sense why can't they just talk normally. Why is everything they say complete rubbish. Coincidence or just the logical outcome of people trying to attribute noises to peoples voices.
