All this talk about the Ashes when England can't even beat NZ!

This is incredible. There's not much more exciting than a low scoring test match. Bowling wickets are far too few and far between these days.

Fantastic cricket, thought things were going pear shaped this morning, but we recovered well, & the bowling split between Anderson & Broad was outstanding.

Broad's 7-44 was epic, ripped NZ apart

, last time we only used two bowlers to destroy the opposition was 78 years ago, 1935.

Also wish I could get to Leeds for the next test.

I'm also looking forward to the Ashes, if we can continue to bowl this well.

We lead by 429 runs and have come out after lunch to bat, the highest ever run chase is 418... Cook is going to look stupid if New Zealand hang on for a draw with 1-2 wickets to spare.

edit: rain is forecast for tomorrow as well.
