Most Underrated TV Show?

On the topic of underrated series and also ones that got cancelled on a cliff hanger....Odyssey 5.

Really enjoyed it and had been hoping for a Firefly-esque movie follow-up, but sadly looks like it'll never be concluded.

Undercovers.

Spy fun romp thing....wasnt GREAT but deff had another 2 series in it building up this big secret and then they didnt even air the final 2 episodes!

I loved Season 1 of Jericho.

Season 2 was pretty average. It obviously got cancelled with not much notice as they had to quickly wrap everything up and it shows. Be great if it came back though.

I always loved Ed

Amazing and funny cast, great cameos, sterling soundtrack and stories that always left me feeling just a little bit happier afterwards despite my late teenage angst.

Launched (or not?) the careers of some very well known talent including Justin Long and Julie Bowen.

Many more of the cast I really wish were given more opportunities. Particularly Tom Cavanagh the eponymous Ed and Michael Ian Black as a bowling ally employee.

This, especially the first couple of seasons. Loved that show.

The Cape!!!

Cos Summer Glau woz innit.

How dare they cancel top totty like that!!! One series common.

Oh, and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles comes to mind too.

Glad to see there is a bit of love for Trailer Park Boys. Psych is another good shout. I'm not sure how popular it is in the US but no one over here ever mentions it yet its one of my favourite shows.

I really liked Psych for the first few seasons, this season I just haven't really got into it.

Started Jericho on Netflix after recommendations here, really enjoying it so far. Was awake until 3.30 on a work day though :(

Studio 60 on the sunset strip!

It was a great show sadly cancelled after 1 season. Aaron Sorkin doing what he does best. His new show, The Newsroom is also awesome and is coming back for a second season :)

Studio 60 is a good shout. Suffered the "Matthew Perry" curse. In similar fashion Mr. Sunshine was also completely underrated.

Jericho got cancelled after season 1 but there was a massive outcry. So the network gave them 6-ish episodes to wrap up another two seasons of material. Season 1 was great, season 2 blasts through everything quickly for obvious reasons.

I loved Jericho. It had the potential to be very interesting. I guess the subject matter just did not sit that well with US audiences and it was canned. It was still a litttle too "glossy", a bit like survivors. Where was the dirt, grime and filth that would accumulate?

I thought Caprica, prequel to Battle Star Gallactica, was one of the best Sci-Fi shows ever!

I quite enjoyed that one but it probably wouldn't even rate in my top 10. Shame they had to cobble together a low budget ending too.

My Name is Earl
Malcolm In The Middle

Both are great comedies with long running jokes. And most importantly, no laughter track
