*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S4 Thread ***

The time was fine after the flash. Went to a BBQ and noticed a couple of strange things. Must be the ROMs fault ;).

Running Omega now, seems good. No issues.

I've been running Wanamlite since it was released and it's been rock solid for me. I had that security error at first but disabling some knox services fixed that, and it's something wanam will fix in the next release.

Had no issues with the time and date settings either.

In what sense? :p You're my guinea pig!!

It's just like giving up smoking mate that's all ;)

The phone itself is lovely, amazing screen, camera is brilliant and mine certainly doesn't seem to lag! Order one, but hope amazon have improved their utter joke of a single cardboard carton packaging which on mine both ends were all too easy to open!

Well its lucky DPD aren't a bunch of con artists or I'd probably have no phone! Work certainly didn't check the contents!

just order the regular packaging next time then. It is optional, you know.

Get off your high horse my beauty is the simple answer. The phone comes in a Samsung retail box, and you DO NOT have a choice of frustration free packaging. It isn't like a SD card or similar.

and take the stick out of your arse would be a simple reply. Amazon give you the option of of frustration free on certain goods, like the memory card I received last week. But he it looks like they dont give you an option on the phone, so my mistake.

Still, stop being a prat.

Don't tell me to order frustration free next time like it is my mistake when you haven't even looked at the choices. Do you honestly see them offering 'frustration free packaging' on a £500 device?

I don't like your personal insult much either. Cheers

I said don't choose it, but I already explained I thought you had a choice. But yeah, you don't.....

wellll....

 Mine came from chitter chatter in one of those nice sealed plastic bags. Not impenetrable by any means but easy to spot tampering. Yours came in an easy open cardboard box. Call it what you like, but it sounds frustration-free to me?

I don't like your personal insult much either. Cheers

Don't be so brash then? you jumped down my throat, what else do you want me to say?

Anyway, memory cards. What speeds are you guys getting with the cards in the phone? I think mines lower than i was expecting but there's a lack of testing of sd speeds with the i9500/9505 it would seem. I'll run a test an upload a screeshot in a minute...

edit:

That's using an app called a1 sd bench, but they are all largely similar. The card is a 64gb saumsung UHS-1, for reference. Kona, what's your like?

Posted on the last page. Octa who/what.........;):p

Guessing the battery/performance will improve over time with the i9500. Be interesting to see what the Octa is like in the Note 3.

There's so little in it. I think the better battery life makes the s600 the better choice for most people, unless you prioritize audio over battery life as that were the octa seem to have the biggest advantage.
