*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S4 ACCESSORIES Thread ***

S4 arriving next week so in the meantime will need a case and screen protector so will be doing my homework ;)

I still have a pair of Zenis docks that work great with my S3 LTE in a Rock Quicksand cover , will the S4 fit these docks ?

I remember seeing a post that said their S4 was a 'bit loose' in the dock ? I will be fitting a protective back cover to the S4 as well

stoosh - I might just return that SGP case as I've come to realise that I just hate cases in general :D.

Ruins the look and feel of the phone!

lol Nexus - for £15 it had to be perfect :D

Didn't get on with the colour - looked better in the amazon photo. Back plastic is slightly raised over the rubber top and bottom. Has to go!

Yup, I personally find those cases pretty nasty, wouldn't mind them when the phone isn't great to look at or/and hold but when the GS 4 is nice looking and feels great already, why cover it up ;)

At least you gave it go Mate. I'll say it again, thank god for Amazon's returns policy. :D

Yes hear hear Nexus! The S4 is gorgeous without a case  Maybe you can go for a pouch instead? - they're a little bit of hassle but you get the best of both worlds and it's still protected?

Yeah I had to give it a go as I really liked the design. Reality killed it in the end lol.

Yes most of the time I'll go without a case and I have a pouch for the S4 already.

Just need a full on case for when I know I'm going to be rough with it. The Diztronic case I have for the S3 is perfect, they don't have the equivalent for the S4 yet.

^^It's no loss Mate, you'll get your money back and you can use it towards another case.

You're well prepared with the pouch though just like a boy scout ;)

Try and give the Samsung case I got the other day, it feels really nice and doesn't look bad at all and best of all it's very grippy.

or if it's not your kind of thing you could always go for one of these instead off the bay?

Was looking for a case that wasn't the usual thing, didn't want a flip case, some of them looked OK but I'm wary of a case that's less than £5 with free P&P. Went to 200 items at a time and was on page 3 when i saw this from South Korea and decided Ironman was the one. Chestpiece and eyes light up when you're using the screen if you enable NFC as well. We'll see in a week or so what it's like.

Hmm I'd love some Jarvis notification sounds too!

Buttons have a good feel and the cutouts for ports and mics are 100% precise and perfect. Very impressed with that.

It is a bit slippery but I don't find it so bad to stop me keeping it.

So far so good, plenty of overall protection yet still stylish.

Hi Kona,

The SlimArmor Case looks real nice. Did you also have the SPG Neo case ?

How soes it compare to the SPG, particularly with regard to size ?

I find my SPG makes the phone a little bigger which makes difficult to reach some of the touchscreen buttons on some apps.

gah i really want another official rock case, the S4 back scratches really easily...ive not even put it on anything rough at all yet and its already scratched after 3 days!!

I really loved the rock on my S3 but cant find one for the S4

Can anyone comment on the Spigen SGP Neo Hybrid cases?

@Super-spy The Neo Hybrid is easily the better case between the two:

a) It's a matter of taste but IMO the Neo Hybrid case looks much better
b) The case has more of a lip at the front so the device can be placed face down whereas the Slim armour case has practically no lip and the phone sits almost flush with the case.
c) The Neo Hybrid adds little bulk and retains the slimness of the S4 and is more grippy than the Slim armour which is ever so slightly bulky and feels like you're holding a bar of soap in your hand.
d) The Neo Hybrid is very tight around the camera and other areas which means that there's very little chance of dust and lint getting trapped between the case and the device itself.

The Neo Hybrid is definitely recommended over the Slim Armour case.

@skidmarks See above for the answer to your question :D

Got it and I love it. Feels like it's added an extra dimension to the phone, and the fact that it's slimline is great. The back of the cover is really nice to hold and feels like touching the back of the iPhone5.

Here's some close up pics I've taken:
