Newborn Baby Flushed Down The Toilet

I can't begin to imagine the torment they must have gone through to make that decision. Flushing a new born Down the toilet?! Something must have driven them to do that, i don't think people are so callous no matter who they are. However irrespective of that, and whatever the reasons for doing so, you cannot treat life in such a carefree manner.

It's tragic that these things happen in the world.

Though the ray of hope that this baby survived is something to be praising. :)

Please. You don't think some people are just evil?

I suggest you read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dnepropetrovsk_maniacs

Sickening eh? Some people in this world are just sick and should be put down. That's just my opinion.

People aren't born evil. They are lead to evil through desperation or poor treatment, psychological issues or a multitude of reasons. It's just cause and effect - the issue is complex. Of course we are also judging them by our own moral code or the one that we have been surrounded with most of our lives - those without that upbringing will not have the same.

You are of course entitled to your opinion, it is not one, however, that I share.

...that is all.

NO that is not all, i..i just, ahhh. Our world..our planet, she's dying a death... what with the people on it not seeming to care or acting stupid every single day in vast quantities. Everybody's buggered man.

This sort of thing and worse happens every day all over the world unfortunately - it's just not all reported. There is a lot of sadness and desperation in the world, not everyone is living in the luxury that we all do here comparatively. Unfortunately we can't all save everyone or help everyone, but we can only strive in doing good to those around us and hope that those closest to use are not affected and that we propagate good rather than evil onto others. :)

With the greatest of respect, I think that's a load of rubbish. Are you telling me people not only murder people, but subject them to horffic cruelty because they fell on harder times? I'm not having that. I've fallen on harder times myself yet never wanted to harm no one. I also witnessed violence in the houshould as child, so again, I'm failing to see how can even begin to justify the things some people do.

As the baby is fine...

They must have big toilets in China, some of my number twos don't go down in the first flush, let alone a number fifty nine.

You cannot judge on your experience what happens around the world.

People are not born evil and twisted - things trigger/happen to cause that. Whether it's a chemical imbalance or a psychological event or some other factor.

It's good that you didn't take out your hardship on others around you - it shows that you had a strong support network around you, or that you had the strength to keep you true. However, not everyone has the same fortunate / favourable conditions that you have. Some people in adversity and in a war torn, or just pure poverty and desperation go through things that we in our blissful ignorance and wealth will never be able to understand.

I know you're convinced that people actively like doing it - I don't think they actively like doing it, but they have been numbed to things around them, and their moral compass has been compromised and tarnished so that they no longer can see which way they are pointed.

It's tragic and sad, unfortunately that is the way of the world. That is why it is our responsibility to be as good to one another as we can - Do unto others as you would have them do to you. The less evil is spread the more positive the world becomes - it's called solidarity.

LOL

There toilets are a little different to ours.

Another in the millions of dead Chinese babies, no doubt only interesting thing to note is that it is obviously a boy.

My personal opinion of this, is that China has hit the impasse that the West hit in regards to having children and gaining wealth...though we don't tend to flush babies down toilets to solve such issues.

This is likely to become the norm, unfortunately...if it has not already been the norm and we are just seeing a news story about it.

Did you read the link I sent you? They were from well off families yet murdered 21 people in an horrific way, with one video leaked onto the internet. How would you go about jusitifying that?

Around 1973 we had a girl at our school who used to take kids weekly dinner money (12p a day at the time) for sexual favours and she was a really big girl.
I remember one morning us all laughing at her panting around the cross country course and later that day she was caught shoving her new born baby down the toilet
AFAIK the baby survived.

To flush a newborn baby down a toilet, I think what's amazing is these stories don't surprise me anymore. The world we live in sadly.

One live baby down the toilet today, 1000 dead babies powderised and sold on the black market tomorrow...

Oh wait that already happened. China

Actually, I was surprised when I found it was a boy and not a girl.

I do worry about that place - they're going to have some issues in the near future with a generation of young men lacking enough women to go around...

This sort of story likely all too common.. the gender gap isn't just a result of parents choosing the sex these days but infanticide is likely not as rare as it should be over there.

It's why religion was invented. TO bring shame on these acts. Without someone to tell you what's right or wrong then there is no right or wrong. If this was an act done on purpose then I'm sure she though it was almost definitely the right thing to do at the time.

Update from Skynews is reporting that it was the mother who raised the alarm. Unmarried and knocked up, delivered early during a bathroom break.
Would explain the placenta still being attached.

So not the evil child killer everyone was expecting.

Actually we do! The legal Abortion rate in the UK is running at just under 200,000/Annum. (Around 7 million in total since legalisation)

Killing unwanted children in vast numbers is routine in the west. It is just that we try to kid ourselves that because they are very small and not yet independently viable that they are not actually alive.
