AMD for Intel - am I going to notice the difference?

It's the announced date isn't it?

Haswell's in the hands of the E-tailers and has been for almost a week. There's literally no reason they don't launch it now to be honest.

Either way, competitor has special event thing slated 3.6.13
It's called "competitor" 8 prelaunch or something, Gigabyte associated so Z87.

I'm probably wrong with the Tuesday (4th), but it's deffo in those 3 days.

EDIT : They've capital lettered HAS and WELL in the banner, so it's for real that it's the 3rd or 4th :p

Don't personally care about Haswell too much. All it means to me is having benchmarks and product pages to look at. :p

I'd have rather stayed on the dole than this Apprenticeship, or at least, that's how I feel sometimes.

I jumped too fast, as I'd been on the dole for too long.

At any rate, I'm interested in Haswell, I fancy a 4770K, might even sell up my watercooling, just run a stock 4770K :p
 
Just thought you may be interested to hear that I actually bought an i7 3770k purely because I was able to do so at £185. Couldn't turn it down at that price.
