*** Official NBA 2012/2013 season ***

But the Heat know more what the Pacers can bring now, Pacers gave 110% and lost.

The Pacers need to keep up to that level game after game which is tough. The Heat still have more to bring to the table.

So whilst I think it's possible for the Pacers, its unlikely.

Given all the talk of this drive to the basket it they made it sound tough. I looked at the replay and laughed at how wide open LeBron was

It could only have been easier if the Pacers had lined up and gave him a guard of honour with Vogel at the end on his hands and knees so Bron could step on his back and dunk without jumping :p

Fair point.

Would be sad to see Paul leave the Clips with what they are building, don't really see where he can rock up either.

Ideal coach-team match: Jerry Sloan and Clippers.

Not an LA guy, obviously, and he’s been hanging around the Jazz a bit of late, so he’s probably unavailable, but the Clips have the template with which Sloan has succeeded in the past… a PG (in need of a strong leader), a skillful and dynamic PF, a shot-blocker, tenacity (in the form of Paul and Barnes, at least), a wing defender/shooter/cutter (Barnes again) and team passing with the athletic capacity to finish inside.

Sloan would be a great fit with Clippers current roster - although Blake really does need to expand his game, he needs to improve that 10-15ft jumper and really get better post moves, once he has that, he really will be a beast.

As for last nights game, wow...

fair play to the pacers for grinding it out, but it was so poor and sloppy by the heat, both games have been poor by Miami, whether that's due to the pacers or not i don't know, but they certainly need to step it up big time

Been a strange season this year. Heat are normally average regular season then really turn up post season. Been the flip side this year and they haven't really looked like a great side once these playoffs.

Hopefully a bit of adversity will bring out the best of them like the Bulls game. As I've been saying a while though the Pacers are the only side (in the East) who have a good shot at besting Miami with their style do will be an interesting series from here on in.

Yip.

Been a lot easier for the Spurs than I thought, they have the perfect match up against the Grizz and have exploited it. Well played by them!

Stepped up and destroyed Pacers, nice!

Birdman is such an underrated player, think he's only missed 1 shot in 3 games so far. That and Bron on the warpath again :D

Spurs ride the broom straight to the finals.

Be interesting if the rest helps them or if they lose their edge from the extra rest.

Hope the Heat get through, Heat/SAS would be a great final and if the Heat lost that (which is more than possible against a good SAS team) I wouldn't begrudge Duncan another ring the great pro he is. Losing to LAL or the Thunder would have been a *****, a good organisation like the Spurs? Not so much.

I was quite an advocate for The Church of Mike Conley Jr, but he had a stinker of a series vs the Spurs. He shot 38.3 % against the Spurs, only 26.7% from three, and an atrocious 64.7% from the free throw line.

Think its headed towards Summer of LeBron part deux!

It'll be interesting to see what adjustments Vogl will make tonight, the heat are playing exceptionally well, with their roleplayers really stepping up. I too would love to see an SAS/Heat final it definitely would have the makings of a classic finals.

SAS played solid fundamental (as always) basketball and like Pop said in the post game interview, a couple of plays here or there in every game in the series could have changed everything.

Will be interesting to see how the spurs shake off the 10 day lay off they have until the Finals, they will have to shake off the rust real fast vs this Miami team, especially if LBJ continues playing the way he is..

Awesome win for the Pacers - although I really don't like how involved in this series the refs have become.

A few pics I snapped at the game tonight:

The hole series has become a joke ref wise. Though to be fair the Pacers play hard so it's inevitable the refs would get involved, its a bit boring (if understandable) that teams continually play gutterball vs the Heat, thankfully IF we win through the SAS won't sink to that level.

Next game should be interesting now, both coaches are regularly mixing it up which is good to see.

I think it's a little unfair to call what the Pacers play 'gutterball'. They play hard inside and draw a ton of fouls. Heat can't stop Roy Hibbert.

Yeah I think it's a bit unfair to call the pacers style of play gutterball, although yes I think the ref's would do better to let them play a little.

Could you imagine the 80s Pistons or 90's knicks playing in todays game...
