Hello, I'm looking to get an i5 processor and an MSI 77a G45 mother board.
But I have around £200 to spend, can anyone recommend any good i5's or any motherboards around that quality for me :)

I'm pretty useless with PC's so any help would be massively appreciated!
 
The cheapest i5 is £150, so you would have to get a bgrade motherboard which can be had for £50, or drop to a i3 CPU and a Z77-D3H motherboard which will be your £200 spent.

Get the best i5 you can afford, preferably a "K" so you can overclock it properly.

Haswell is just round the corner, upgrading now to an ivybridge may not be the smartest move...

Id wait for the release of the new 4th Gen Haswell's and relook at your options...
