Hi guys,

If I take the renewal letter to the local Post Office to buy Road Tax

Do I still need to take MOT and Insurance documents? or do they just scan it and check electronically nowadays?

Thanks

well it's been answered but here's something i chuckled at :)

I completely forgot last year when attempting to get the tax to bring my insurance (was doing it on the way from the MOT) and the guy just looked at me blankly and said i had to bring in some paper, i did have my insurance number written down but he needed to see it on paper.

next day come back with a print out i did myself of the .pdf from admiral and he just glanced and gave me the tax.

funny thing was.... i then looked at my insurance on the paper and the dates were wrong xD they stated and finished on the same date last year xD so technically from that document i didn't have insurance :p (phoned up admiral to tell them and they just said it much have been a glitch and my cover was vaild, just the pdf generation must have screwed up xD)

Fair enough, but actually makes no difference in practice.

/edit BTW, your signature makes me feel like my eyesight is failing badly! :)

aye, but some people prefer to pay in cash and grab things there and then.

and thats my best picture i did of my backplate, an actual picture, not photoshop!!!! (mainly because i cant use photoshop =( )

used paint to trim the bad boy down to size, and boom instant orange and white siggy :D

i really should learn to use photoshop....
