Im looking at getting the Corsair Builder Series CX 750W Modular '80 Plus Bronze' PSU for my upcoming Haswell build, but noticed the description mentions 'basic system builds' as i will be OC the haswell is this a good choice?. I have used Corsair PSU's for my last 2 systems and cant fault them but i have also looked at the, XFX 750W XXX Edition Modular '80 Plus Silver' which is slightly more. Would the Corsair be fine?

I think by basic it means it only supports a single graphics card as it only has 2 PCI-E connectors.
Edit sorry missed the word modular - so it supports 2 graphics cards with 4 PCI-E connectors.

Corsair aren't very helpful in their descriptions, what do they mean by 'basic', 'gamer', 'enthusiast.
I looked at your post because I was considering the same - what to power a Haswell rig. I'm erring on the side of the HX750, it costs more but it is supposed to be rock solid.

At the end of the day the Corsair CX series are a budget psu built down to a price. I would be paying the extra for the XFX as it's a quality unit built by Seasonic.

I'd lean towards the HX750, the fact that HX and above series has higher efficiency, it will also have the flexibility to add more hardware in the future without worrying about running out of peripheral connectors on the PSU. CX and VS series are pretty much entry level PSUs, though they are lower level, they still get the job done and are still reliable on a daily basis. Here is an in-depth blog that will better explain this subject, http://www.corsair.com/blog/why-does-a-better-power-supply-mean-a-better-computer-experience/
