Asteroid will closely approach earth tonight

Isn't it about 17x further than the Moon, which is basically a no for being able to see it?

At 21:59 BST, 1998 QE2 asteroid, 1.7 miles wide, will make a very close approach to Earth. I haven't done any research into where to look yet, but I'm continuing to dig through. If anyone else can find any info, it'll be appreciated! Apparently, it's so big, it has it's own moon!

Good luck in seeing it!

I have a telescope although it's not too great =/. Let's hope the pro astronomers get take some good pictures!

Aha, nice one! Next time, please could you put the name of the asteroid in text format, as I tried to search for it, but ofc, no results. :)
