Out of these two, Grid 2. But still, neither are great
nope deffo not worth it,
its a poor poor sequel
yes its pretty and fun for a half hour blast but its very samey I honestly wish they had just taken grid and used this new engine for it with some polishing

Ah that's a shame, I was looking forward to a decent racer until I had the time to play iracing again.
Just played my first games online. I am ashamed to say that due to the constant smashing into other cars/barriers/car pieces (not wholly my fault
), i am yet to actually finish a race before running out of time.Had a blast the whole time.

No immersion in SP. The AI cars are more like trams. No aggression, too passive. Barge past them all to the 1st position and they're all like...meh, don't care you've overtaken me, don't care about winning.
^ I find them difficult to get past because they are so agressive. But once you're past them they dont even try.
Infact, it really winds me up because I want to race "proper" but AI agression as well as near every car wanting to be a drift machine (and the game encouraging drifting for SPEED!?!) kind of throws that out the window.
Works fine in the X-bow and atom and similar vehicles. the 4WD audis too. But the rest are mostly too drift happy :/

Im sorry but people know im a pessimist by heart.
But people judging this game by the SP? Really? The SP hasnt changed since what I can remember from TOCA etc, **** it still uses the same inbetween screens basicly.
I played tonight with 10 people on TS, changed the mode to full damage and only 1 reverse or whatever its called.
Then the game is a hell of a lot better and deserves at least a 78/100 just for that.
The only thing that annoys me is the amount of ***** banging eachother of the road in the 1st 3 corners when playing random online games, I dont think thats Codemasters to blame, its retarded people that brake 2m in front of a corner.
The game has quite a big variety of cars and upgrades online, and they sure as hell don't all steer the same.
Put some hours in it and play with friends (join the ocuk grid 2 group on steam) and have teamspeak up.
Does this game has it's flaws? **** yes, still handicapped menus in some places (dirt showdown basicly), but judging a game on the SP like half the people here do doesnt seem to do it justice either.
Not like we are judging Battlefield 3 by it's singleplayer is it?

tis true just played mp for few hrs again excellent fun you can have cars to not do damage like ghosts and some rooms are fair while some are like a gladiator ram fest.
does feel like a run the gauntlet sometimes but this can addd to the fun sometimes when you emerge a winner through a giant battle
single player is not a true reflection of mp and upgrade and such can make a nice different.

Agreed, loving the game here. Feel your pain but accept some of us are enjoying the game a lot and let us have that enjoyment
