Is this Egypt fuel price correct ??

Its those kind of prices in a few places in the middle east, so there is no reason to suspect that those figures would be far off.

That's about right, don't think you're limited on it either

As for quality you see a good few 911's and the like around sharm filling up

Its a similar price in the UAE but thats still more expensive than countries who actually have oil though (Saudi etc)

16 quid to fill the tank on my GTI :)

You have to remember the standard of living in Egypt etc, is nowhere near ours.

Was in Dahab last year, and our waiter was working 12+ hour days for £10 per day +tips. And he was glad to get it. It's all relative.

Also 80%+? of our fuel cost is tax. Other countries don't even come close.

I'm surprised Egypt has subsidised fuel considering they aren't an oil producing country nor are they wealthy in anyway.

The price difference is not down to fuel quality though, it's due to differing government policy regarding taxation or subsidisation of fuel.

Haha, I knew someone would post that. I'm perfectly aware of the reasons for the fuel price differences. My point was an obtuse response to the guy's implication that the quality justified the price gap.
