Was one from delpy8 that ive bought, literally just a few minutes ago. Tbh it is very much needed, the 3570k is quite a bottleneck with sli'd gtx 670's. Seeing a max of 80% gpu usage per card, should be a lot higher with the new chip. Noticed pretty much the same by disabling ht on my old i7 920 with sli'd gtx 470's.yeah 0 warranty,
@ setter im glad you picked one up,i saw you missed out on one yesterday
Can't wait to get my 4670k, I expect to be disappointed
Got a custom loop, so I'll see how it handles.
i7 3770k's in general seem to run a bit cooler than recent 3570k's, despite the fact that the former uses ht that will generate a bit more heat. Just purchased a 3770k on members market so it should be interesting to see the difference compared to my 3570k.
just take care in not killing it now
this hammer and vice method im seeing seems a decent way
Isnt there a possibility that the pcb could snap in half when whacked with the wood though? An whats the best method many tiny little taps or a few heavy handed ones?
I have one of those Hot Air Station bit of kits, im wonder if setting the temp on that to about 80c, placing the chip i a vice and just blasting the IHS to soft the glue then tap it with the wood/hammer method
stop the press, cpu gets hot when running prime95 stress/torture test.
