Just something about him doesn't work for me.

You liking him then Tim? He really has been good for me, really powerful and a great finisher.
He's been ok, trouble is as a striker in 4231 you just don't get much time to move & get around, closed down very quickly, might try him in a 2 up formation and see how that goes!
Edit: had 1 more game, switched up to 4222 first half and he felt a bit better, 2nd half to 41212 then 352 and everything was good, having a CAM support and an additional striker really gives him a lot more chance to get open & things played a lot better with him, 1 goal 1 assist there, this team may be getting 41212/352'd I think!!

I was actually thinking about changing my 4-3-1-2 Serie A side into a 4-2-2-2 team, as I think that'll allow a bit more width than my usual formation does (very handy whenever I come up against 3-5-2). TOTS Balo and TOTS Di Natale up front, Sneijder and TOTS Hamsik in CAM, with De Rossi and TOTS Vidal in CDM. You'd argue if I can play 41212 442 should be pretty straight forward, I'll no doubt try it again
For me, it's just nicely balanced. Yes you can get hit on the counter, but with two decent CM's you shouldn't be too far out of position to get back.
The only other formation I'd use is 4-2-3-1

4222 felt WAY too open in the middle after using 352 and 4231, No CAM/CF = scary times!

Ah, good to know. I must admit I do like 4-3-12, despite how narrow it is, because when I'm on top, any of the front 3 can score easily so it's harder for the defence to try and mark any particular player out of the game.

Couldn't you custom it?Yep, 4312 is great and strong going forwards, I just REALLY wish 4132 was in UT, would be the best formation......EVAH!

That's something I definitely need to do, as I never chance tactics during a match and that probably costs me more than a few wins.

Nice pack! I've just bought TOTS Vidal (the dangers of being bored in work at lunch with web app access) to replace Pirlo, as Pirlo is so slow the game just seems to pass him by at times. Hopefully Vidal performs as well as some of the video reviews on YouTube suggest he will.

I'm undecided as to what to do with alves and Vidal. Always wanted to use dani alves but his price rage put me off. Wondering if I should keep him and sell him later hoping his price will rise again.
Same with Vidal, his monster stats suggest his going rate is a little low 230k. Hoping he would go back up once the tots is over.

Got him today as well (at work while PL/SQL is fetching some results)
