Hey,

I know this has been done time and time again (I used search yay me ;) ) but am wondering if anyone has any up to date suggestions of places to get mats from?

Typically my car doesn't have any and I cringe at the thought of wearing holes in the interior carpet. The dealer said they are £75 a set but am wondering if there is a cheaper good quality alternative?

Thanks :)

ebay?

Never found any 3rd party mats that are both cheaper and a better fit than the manufacturer. I've seen one or the other, but never both. So that said, just get them from the dealer.

Genuine ones can be got cheap sometimes especially when sellers put them on as auctions, my brother recently got a genuine set of merc mats for his cls for £40 delivered i'd be damned if you could get them from the dealer for that

Try Cox motor parts, usually have a bit of a discount over most Honda dealers. There's also a honda main dealer in stoke/Hanley who sell stuff cheaper than most dealers through mail order, name of the place escapes me for the moment but they discount some items heavily so might be worth ringing them...

Were you down here recently will? I saw a car with a 'will'ish number plate and thought may well have been you?

I concur with this. My Ford mats were £60 or something but they're really nice

What ever you do don't order from www.mrcarmats.com

Look up reviews of them. I ordered mats and they didn't fit, they had the exact details of my car but they still didn't send the correct ones then blamed me. Never got all my money back off them either.

Many many other people have had the same experience, the manager/owner is damn right rude and won't help if there's any issues. Oh and be prepared for a long wait if calling them, usually the phone just rang and rang... On two occasions I was waiting over 30mins for someone to answer.

Holdcroft Honda, they have an ebay store too.

I usually get my mats from http://www.needed4.com/

If there's proper manufacturer mats available, get them.

If not:

My Saxo VTR came with some horrible rubber mats in the front and nothing in the rear :(.

I bought a set from http://www.justmatz.co.uk/mat-e.php and they've been great :). I went for "Executive" mats (decent thickness carpet) and got them with the piping and VTR logo in the same colour as my paint. You tell them the make/model/year of your car and whilst they took just short of a month to come they fit perfectly .
