Which Haswell mobo? Asus Z87 or Maximus VI Extreme

I am looking to put a haswell build together and I am torn between two mobo's below. I want to overclock with the mobo too, from what I can tell there seems to be very little between them. I won't be using SLI/Crossfire as I don't need it.

Is the Maximus worth the extra £117? Anyone got a similar board from an earlier series, what was your take on it?

The Maximus has to be worth the extra just to get away from the horrible colour scheme.

+1 have to agree with the colour scheme looks terrible, I wish they stuck with ASUS blue.

Totally agree. Even the budget boards seem pretty good but just a massive shame about their colour scheme.

The maximus extreme looks epic, as does that device that comes with it , just on the basis that it gives something cool looking for the 5 1/4 inch bays, and serves a pretty nice function too
