Apart from the Vauxhall styled wheels it does look awesome. No idea why makers are using two tone thin styled VX-ish wheels in everything "Sporty" these days. They look chav to the Maxxx.

I had a brand new TSI Octavia hire car last weekend. It was well nice. Pretty nippy too...although the guy in the FTO wasn't too happy...ahem!

specs for the petrol engine look decent..220bhp but reasonable to tax and 40+mpg if you behave..couple that with its space and boot and its a good all rounder

I think it looks quite understates, almost as if its been toned down from the previous model. Still like it though, ticks a lot of boxes

That estate is lovely! yeah, wheel a bit odd...

(I'm looking into an Octavia Scout at the moment, being more tempted by the VRS though!)

I do like the headlights and the grill, otherwise I think it looks a bit dull. The estate does look good in that second shot paddy posted though.
