Hello,

I wish to buy a cherry mx blue mechanical keyboard for my future career in computer science and so wish it to be durable. Just wanted to know what you think the best one is. The only real ones I dislike are ones with blank key caps. I heard ducky keyboards are good, can you still buy them?

Thanks.

I'm more than happy with my QPAD MK80, cherry blue MX, blue backlighting w/ 3 levels + off, headphone + mic passthrough, USB2 hub and it's a fair bit cheaper than the Ducky Shine 2

Some of these gaming orientated boards that run at cheaper costs do not have full mech switches. IE Some Corsair boards do not have mechs on the Function keys etc. If you are buying a board for quality and mechanical action, buy one which does it properly.

Didn't corsair fix that on the newer k70 and k95, I know before the macro keys on the k90 where rubber domed along with the pageup etc keys.

Knowing your looking for cherry mx blues, either the QPAD or Filco would be a great choice, also take a look at "Daskeyboard" little pricey but exceptional quality.

However if you are based in the EU, from experience trying to RMA some products can be a chore due to expensive shipping so most products end up being corsair due to the EU rma destination and piece of mind.

You'll be in luck as they have revamped their k70 line with MX blue and brown switches. previously only red was available.
