I can't wait for this movie!

Guys, I'm about to book tickets for enfield cineworld. I've signed up to 'mycineworld' to get cheaper online tickets. I'm thinking the IMAX 3D will be superior to standard 3D, shall I go IMAX?

I'm really happy about this, i hope we never see Kryptonite or Lex Luthor in this series, they've been done to death. Hoping the next film has either Darkseid, Doomsday or Brainiac.

But Prometheus was pretty dire, this no doubt will be balls out awesome!

Reviews complain about too much humour, now too little humour! I really don't give a damn, from what I've read this is a serious and epic superman full of action...... and boy I cannot wait!!!!
 
As long as it is better than Superman 3, 4, and Returns then I will be happy. I don't expect it to necessarily top Superman 1 and 2, but if it can be better than the later films then I believe it is a success - that and it performing better than Superman Returns at the boxoffice.

I'm going to see it in a very measured approach, because I know sometimes that the hype can make my expectations too high.
 
The thing is even the 'negative' reviews are still giving it a solid 3 out of 5, and the main complaint is a lack of humor? This isn't Avengers, and Superman isn't Tony Stark, it would seem that the reviewers are expecting something akin to a marvel universe movie.

Indeed, the worst moments in the superman movies is when they try to be funny. Superman is a very serious character by nature and it would just jarr if they tried. The only time this ever worked was a few moments with Kevin Spacey as lex in Superman Returns, somehow he pulled those moments off, i guess because he has quite a dry wit.
