Language is great though. You'd never hear someone asking that across in France though cos it makes no sense. Don't be a shower! Cant see any reason why people in the UK should be using Americanisms though.

I love how if someone from the Midlands mentions their Mom, they get called out for using American words and corrected but it's perfectly acceptable to call people douche?

I can actually attest to this not being a douche philosophy!

I used to work in a call centre and can assure you that you will forever get better treatment when you're not a bell!

Goodwill gestures were forthcoming from myself if a customer had an issue whereby they realised, conceded and apologised. The ones that got angry and talked to me like idiots simply got stonewalled.
