Christian Churches cannot be burnt down as they are of superior build quality!

The Crusades took place over 900 years ago so to compare killings of Christians today with the killing of Muslims back then would, in my opinion, be to say that those countries are 900 years behind us in civilised terms. This is not the case.

The Crusades are in the past or would you condone the killing of Russians because of the Crimean War? You don't see Scots killing Englishmen just because of the many invasions over the centuries do you? It is farcical to see justice in killing someone in the here and now because of what their ancestors may or may not have done centuries ago.

I watched a video a while back that argused the crusades themselves were a response to Islamic aggression and the video shows a timeline of historical battles that successfully conveys Christianity getting its ass kicked for quite some time, going on assult and never quite recovering to the degree they'd already lost.

I wonder how far we'll need to dig to figure out which of our really rather dead and forgotton ancestors threw the first stone. :p

trust you to ignore the rest and pick on his comment. typical but that is expected from you.

I think more than enough people have jumped on the usual suspects, I just thought it amusing that someone recently making a blatantly racist remark would then complain about others being subtly racist.

Islam did not spread from Arabia via hugs and kisses it was done by the sword much like Christianity.
People forget this and are quick to mention crusades. These same people should look up the moor conquests etc.

Yeah with a population percentage of less then 5% I can really see that happening.

There have been many cases in which a minority took over a country. England, for example - as far as we can tell, Angles, Saxons and Jutes were never more than a very small minority of the population, yet the entire country is named after them, their language became the country's language, their laws became the country's laws, etc. They used violence, but not as much as you might expect. If you want to properly conquer a country in a lasting way, politics and culture (especially language) are the way to go. Violence lets you lever in the rest more quickly, but it isn't essential and by itself it just lets you occupy a country temporarily.

That doesn't mean that it will happen, but it does mean that you're wrong to think that it's impossible.

It will not happen, in this day and age, we are to well educated to allow it, and it will end in violence if they did try.

His association of Islam to a Pakistani minority is alarming too. Seriously are people really that thick here? The growth of Islam in the UK is not down to the numbers of Pakistanis, it's down to the number of people joining the religion.

Your average Pakistani is far from practising Islam.
