Stopped off here on my way to Surrey today - it was free so I wasn't expecting much, but there were quite a few cars on show and it was nice to be allowed to sit in them and have a proper look around.

Anyway, here's some photos I took - not the best, but you get the general idea

That Tesla's dash

Love the new S Class, would love to drive one and check out all the kit .

Also, it doesn't seem that long ago when Jag were making rubbish like the X Type and not so great S Type; now they are totally winning everywhere.

I was there this morning, the Tesla dash got the same reaction from me too! Some very nice cars there, but only 45 min tops to get around unless you're particularly chatty. Liked the radical as well, Lotus were there and looked great (and reasonably priced) in comparison to some of the supercars around them. But I'm biased! Some forgettable brands and vehicles there too, but the 1 Canada Sq displays were well worth a look if you're around.

I'm probably just stuck in the past but I hate the digital dashboards and that Tesla is just laughable. New S class looks like it has the Chinese market firmly in its sights. Either that or one of the early wax models was left too near the radiator and the design team just thought "...meh".

Nice pics! Thanks for sharing..

How distracting would that Tesla's screen be.. awful!

Love the XJR (and all the Jags for that matter) and the new S class. Although the latter seems to be trading more styling tips with Lexus GS Sport on its front bumper/grille.. ugh!

I thought the Tesla screen/dash thing looked pretty cool, but I can imagine it'd be a right pain at night. - even dimmed I'd imagine it would be fairly distracting.

The whole Jag range is brilliant - as you say, far better than the previous models, although I did think some of the buttons and switches in the XJR felt very cheap, and a definite step down from the X350 shape. That said, I'd swap my X350 XJ for a new XJ in a heartbeat, overall it's undeniably a far better car.

yes thats what I was thinking, I am sure you can dim it or turn it off.. but how much screen real estate does a driver need really?

Now, if it was in landscape mode, and in the back of a large SUV or limo it would be entirely acceptable :)

I enjoyed it last year. It's outside my building but I was too busy yesterdayh to pop down and today I'm at home. Hoping to have a look around at some point though.
