yo

Planning on delidding my 3770k, But the mounting hardware EK makes to protect the core says its for the supremacy.

i have the Supreme HF block. Will it work or do i need to buy a new wcing block for it to be at its best for protecting the cpu core?

I don't think they're designed to work together, the HF also has a slight bow iirc, im not sure the supremacy does, but for direct-to-die you want flat contact no bowing.

They made it for the Supremacy so it would probably be safest with that. You could still use your supreme just keep the IHS on, it will still improve temps over stock.

Yea i was thinking about using the IHS again, But if im going to delid it i may as well go the full hog :P

The Naked Ivy mount doesn't make much difference in temps (if any) vs. a de-lidded cpu with IHS (assuming same thermal compound).

If the Supreme HF uses the same mounting mechanism as the Supremecy then it should fit.

With ivy, i would say, use the IHS but replace the TIM with liquid pro. You will get an insane temp drop and lose the risk of crushing the CPU due to blocks slight bow.
