Club3D announces today to fully commit to the sale of AMD graphics boards. (No more Nvidia)

I just did a bit of searching and it seems they put out a few real low end cards and a couple of ludicrously overpriced 670/680 cards.

They did sell the entire range of every series of Nvidia cards. That link above ^^ shows you the entire 6XX Kepler range of GPU's. Club3D are more popular in America, although the Club3D Royalqueen / Joker range were popular in the UK.

Still interesting that a vendor has chosen to drop Nvidia.. With a lot of people upset about Nvidia's prices, rebranding, and driver problems. Not the best week for Nvidia that's for sure..

I didn't even realise they made Nvidia based cards, so I just did a bit of searching and it seems they put out a few real low end cards and a couple of ludicrously overpriced 670/680 cards.

Not exactly a tier1 scalp. EVGA would be news/thread worthy.

Actually they're among the cheapest initial GTX 670 cards released in Denmark. I can't say what the UK prices were. Still today the Club 3D GTX 670 2GB are some of the cheapest available after the GTX 770 entered the scene.

So I guess my Club 3D are the last in their nVidia range. However I'm not surprised since their Facebook page for the last year only has been mentioning AMD cards and never once nVidia.

I detect sarcasm with a hint of bitterness :)

Sarcasm, for sure. Bitterness, nope. I looked at the "let's see how good your warranty is" thread and they are not on there, so that tells me they are not big players in the UK (hence my sarcasm at a thread getting all excited over nothing).

Anyone wishing to own a 'Royal Queen' card, be my guest :D

I RMA'ed my one of GTX 670 directly to Holland and they shipped out a replacement the same day they received my card. The only time I tried Club 3Ds RMA, but it was a superb experience nevertheless.

BTW PowerColor stopped making nVidia card late 1999. Last card was nVidia TNT 2 M64 I recall. vtx3d is under PowerColor (TüL corporation) and are fairly new and they only make AMD cards. It's the same with Connect 3D they also only made ATi/AMD cards.

You should post that in the rma thread. :)

Club3d are not very active in the UK though.

I think this guy has a British accent?

No idea why though when club3d cards are almost impossible to find in the UK. Their AMD cards are very popular in other European countries though.

Good to know Gripen. I obviously have heard of them but when you look at the big sellers in the UK, they are not for sale. Not sure why, as looking through their history, they have been going for 16 years.

probably no UK distributor to sell to the shops

they are popular in the US arent they?

Well they're pretty popular with Tiny Tim Logan (UK reviewer). Club 3D is placed in Holland, and their products are pretty much to get anywhere om mainland Europe - from France to Finland.

Yea I remember their first cards quite well. They mostly got known on the mainland with their Club 3D GeForce 6600GT AGP which they offered for an incredible good price and it was a very decent overclocker (my littlebrother had this card). They've never been know for making the most popular cards nor exotic cooling solutions but set their focus on price/performance for the best value... they're kinda like Sparkle if you recall them - also mostly standard card with no bells and whistles.
It's actually only been in recent years they're making "exclusive" cards like the Royal King/Queen and Joker series.
