Am looking at ordering a black Otterbox Defender Case for my S4..:) :) :)

Does anyone know where the best & cheapest place to buy one from is ??
As this case seems to really range in price at different places..:confused:

£17 from amazon.UK seems reasonable, cheapest I've seen a defender anyway.

Good choice re the Diztronic case :)

Looks very sleek and sensible, compared to other cases. Will be very interested to hear your thoughts on it when you get it.

I bought the yellow Neo Hybrid but was disappointed, the yellow isn't exactly what is depicted in the pictures and is closer to orange in colour. So I sent it back to Amazon for a refund. There was also a slight lift at the top left and right corners of the case which showed the bezel which isn't the case with my slate Neo hybrid.

Glad you asked - I like the Neo in general but the yellow colour hasn't grown on me and its too orangey as you said. I want to return it.

Did you just say that to Amazon about the iffy colour and is that enough reason for a refund?

The diztronic turn up yesterday and I like it. Matte back and nice smooth curved edges - very slimline case with a nice chunky front lip for the screen. Will post pics today.
 
Still using the S4 naked here and it's scaring me, specially add I work in a school and am up and found the place all day! Still need to find a decent car that doesn't add too much bulk, a dock it'll fit in, a 32gb card and a 1.5-2 metre usb lead that will give 1900mah charge!
 
@kona Haha! It seemed like a good idea when I was buying it, I don't know what came over me! But yes, the bin was the best place for that horrid case. :p

Re the Neo Hybrid case, I basically gave the reason that the product did not match the description provided on the website and said the colour was more orange than yellow, I sent the case back yesterday.

Glad you like the Diztronic :) It turned up very quickly, that's service for you. Am looking forward to seeing the pics when you post them. :cool:

Gives a great in hand feel and it's very slimline.
 
Cheers Nexus - the Diztronic case is pretty much ideal for what I need it for, and I'm used to it already coming from the S3 version.
 
@kona Great pictures there, they do the case a great service. Good to hear that it feels great in the hand. It looks very classy and understated, in fact it looks better than the Neo Hybrid IMO. I like the size of the lip at the front, that will give the S4 ample protection across the front.

Diztronic have done well with the case, it's a bonus that it retains the slimline profile of the S4.

A very decent purchase. :cool:
 
Hey those of you that have the Neo Hybrid case can you recommend a really thin headphone jack adapter? I don't want one with cable though as my headphone cable is more than long enough. The jack on my headphones does fit but its only just and I'd like to get an adapter which means the headphones fit properly.

If you can't find one and you don't mind taking a sharp blade to your headphones just trim down the plastic around the 3.5mm jack
 
Hi Tom,

Unfortunetly they are dr beats ones and have the right angled jack design so I can't trim anything down :( Just need an adapter to fit over the dr beats jack so it converts to a normal style jack which fits in the hole of the neo hybrid case.
 
Ah bummer, the only thing I can think of is trying to find one of the old iPhone 3.5mm converters as I know they had clearance issues at one point.
 
My Slim Armor from China just arrived, paid about £4-5 including delivery, took about 2 weeks. They threw in a nano ultra clear sp too which came as a bit of a surprise, will apply it later and see how it is.

Guys, where the cheapest place to get a 32Gb/64Gb micro SD card? EBay got some 32Gb Samsung Class 10's for £17.
64Gb are like £50!!!
