Mario Kart 8 Wii U

It does look awesome :D It's probably the only Wii U game I would consider buying, but it's not worth investing in the console for this alone. My money is already budgeted for a PS4.

The Wii was the last Nintendo console I bought after I got a PS3 for free, and I played Mario Kart Wii to death. Definitely one of my favourite games.

I hope that in 1 player there's the option to add or remove things from the gamepad screen. For example, you might move the entire HUD off screen so the TV is completely just the racing. Or there's a rear view mirror etc. Gotta be able to play off screen too.

MP wise, there's loads of possibilities. I loved the surprise element in ZombiU MP mode. Something like hide and seek or a hunt or something would be cool in MK8.
 
Looks great, but I really hope they've toned down the blue shell. It appears far too often in 7. Sitting in 2nd for most of the race, until the blue shell screws the guy in first, should not be a viable tactic.
 
This is confirmed as native 1080p @ 60fps, very few games on 360/ ps3 were able to achieve that.
Not that it matters that much but the game looks fun anyway.
Have to say though it's Super Mario 3D World I'm looking forward to most of the new titles - the more I see the more impressed I am.
 
To be fair those screens don't really do it justice, as Quixote mentioned this will be 1080p @60fps, I've been watching several videos from E3 and it does look good.

Nintendo's art style look's great in HD, I highly recommend anyone with a Wii U to go to the E-shop and watch the Videos from E3 under the 'Developer Interviews' section.

Gives you a better idea what it's like in motion.

All of the official press pack pictures direct from Nintendo are in 720P, this game has not been confirmed as 1080P at all, the only games that were are Wind Waker HD and Smash Bros U.

My bad, been watching too many different videos this week !
I just hope it has some actual corners & not so overkill on the power-ups.
I thought the wii version was horrible, it was hardly even a racing game - just massive wide open tracks & battling with power-ups.
