Absolutely no chance in hell. For that to work, MS would have to allow Sony access to their databases with all the profile information. So yeah, not a chance in hell.

Actually I think this forum has shown quite well that the console users here are not actually that fanatical. They have quickly turned on MS when they are not going to be giving them the device they require even after using their consoles and singing their praises for 8 years or more.

Quite clearly this forum doesn't have the fanboy tag that people like to sling at another person when they don't like their point. From looking around various places on the internet it's shown to me that people in the main don't give a stuff who makes the console if they get the console and games they desire.

People on the Gears forum are asking Epic to consider going multiplatform because they will not buy the next xbox. I'm one of them, that would be a dream scenario for me in the upcoming gen. :)

Of course the achievements won't port across and I love chasing achievements but it's not something I will miss. These days I like going for them in games I love but it's just a personal number. I think if I do go PS4 I wouldn't go after trophies at all. Dunno why, probably just a number OCD fetish.
 
My comment wasn't anything to do with the user base of the consoles, but Sony and Microsoft are competing for a share of a limited market, why would they work together, they're not in this to be friends?

I don't pay much attention to either trophies or achievements so I can honestly say this doesn't bother me.

Although; Gears on Playstation 4 would be pretty good :cool:.
