If you mean their first 10 ranked games this season that is probably because they already have a hidden MMR from last season so there placement is already done tbh.
 
Aatrox hasn't been an issue for me yet, I play him (as Riven) the same as Zac top - no point killing him because of his passive so just zone him or freeze the lane and out farm him.

The only champs I've had issues with late/end game are Fizz, Kass, Zed, Riven and Trynd.

Played correctly Sona can out dps most late game adc, build with 2.1 AS and combo Q and chord to achieve really high dmg and crit.

You need to tailor your build to the opposite ADC / Mid AP as at around 2000hp she can get caught if played rashly.

Anyway over this weekend if anyone has time i wouldn't mind a couple of team games. The lot I usually play with are all wrapped up in C9 at the moment or playing aram.

So if I could join you guys on mumble for a game or two would be good.

I can ADC/Support to a reasonable standard and I'm an average jungler who would like to get better at it.

I'm sorry but unless you have any actual proof of that, I call bull ****.

Sona has no AD ratios, her base and lv18 AS is below average, there is no reason for her to outdamage anyone.

Exactly, I'm just gonna assume pre-30.

Anyone can be built ADC but there's a reason certain champs are used competetively.

Level 30 with 700+ wins.

I play AD Sona as my main so I have pretty much played her non stop in classic, dominion and aram for 2 years.

I specialise in playing the unplayable.......AD heimerdinger, AD Soraka....if you put the hours in you'll see they are viable and not ******** or troll picks.

She will simply get out-dpsed and out-performed by any of the current ADC champions due to the fact she has no AD scaling or ratios of any kind on her abilities (including her Power Chord passive) and also she has no attack steroid of any kind.
If it was between a 6 item Sona and a 6 item ADC such as Vayne/Tristana/Miss Fortune (hell, even Ashe!) my money would definitley not be on Sona.


In ARAMs though sure, anything works there...

I didn't expect any of you to agree and I fully understand why you are calling this BS.

Trust me some unexpected builds work, AD Sona works and is viable.

Read some of the carry build guides for her and watch a few youtube vids...

I never said it doesnt work, as I said a few times, anyone can be built as an ADC and have success, but it will be outclassed by a proper ADC 95% of the time, it also depends how skillfull you/your opponents are, if you are better than them you will most likely win, I've lost to AD Ahri and a few others a few times.

A lot of people play as unconventional ADs because their opponents won't counter pick against it or know how to successfully counter it ingame.

It only really works as a strategy if your opponents don't have good overall game mechanics or judgement.

ie. smurf accounts against newer players.

AD Sona? Just no. I'm only level 12 but even I can see trying to claim that is a worthwhile investment to try and master is just stupid. I've had a number of rounds on Sona where I finished with the highest number of kills mostly thanks to early game poke and burst damage but she is nothing more than a supporter late game with the damage reduction from her W, the slow from her E and the stun from her ulti. You're building an ADC from scratch, not enhancing her skills. Essentially all you're saying is that the items alone are enough to dominate enemies you are already beating...

AD thresh is retarded and irritating. Played against a thresh blitz combo... they didn't win but they were awkward for a bit was very glad I picked vayne....
