BMW F10/11 LCI details released.

Don't think this has been posted before. BMW have released the info for the LCI 5 series. It can be found here and theres a .pdf that can be downloaded too.

Doesn't seem to be much of a change compared to the E60/61 LCI release.

The changes they have made are good though, Business Navigation and Xenon lights standard across the range, lower CO2 on the regular 520d so no more special ED model.

The introduction of the 518d is not such a good change though!

You can tell where all the development time has been spent, the 535d now has the same BHP as the 535i. Loads of refresh for the diesels not enough for the petrols.

The new front light design is infinitely better, almost a tweak back to the E60, which is obviously nice

I find this easier for a quick infomercial

The 535d has more power, and has had the 313 PS engine since 2011!

My business partner just picked up his new LCI F10 last week. Looks cracking, but I spend more time letting him know how disappoint I am in him for buying the 520d.

I think you have to be at least in the 6 cylinder division to make a diesel (only just) tolerable.

I would agree with you. He's more fussed about MPG though, having just spent six years getting rinsed on a 645i and a Jag XFR for ~25k business miles p/a.

The press release is only from a couple of weeks ago and the website configurator only went up last week. I would ge very supprissed if he has an LCI already, late Aug or Sept is when I would expect people to take delivery.

Oh? Perhaps it isn't then. It is absolutely brand spanking new, but I suppose that makes sense.

Yep, won't be LCI until at least August I would have thought. Bet he'll be annoyed then......
