Several Nvidia focussed DX11 heavy games coming soon :)

Splinter Cell Blacklist (DX11, TXAA, Tessellation, HBAO+)
Batman Arkham Origin (DX11, GPU PhysX, TXAA, Tessellation)
Assassins Creed 4 (DX11, Tessellation, TXAA)
The Witcher 3 (DX11, GPU PhysX, Tessellation, FXAA, HBAO+)
Watch Dogs (DX11, Tessellation, TXAA)

Nvidia obviously have to talk up PC now a they are out of next gen consoles but their $20bn PC gaming revenue prediction in 2015 is a lot more than all console sales combined ;)

Seems like the original Crysis is the last game of it's kind. Instead we now have console games, with pointless PC exclusive features tacked on. :(

Yes, it took a few generations of cards to get it playable, but playing Crysis on my 780 just looks and feels hugely superior to the myriad of multiplatform FPS games out there, even Crysis 3.

Would be awesome if Nvidia invested in a AAA PC exclusive, built from the ground up for PC use, i.e. graphics, gameplay and user interface optimised for use on a high end PC hardware, a normal monitor and KB/mouse. Heck, they can even make it heavily optimised for Nvidia graphics cards, so long as it's a PC exclusive.

The future of PC gaming couldn't be more depressing tbh. I see no big exclusives that give me a reason to look forward to PC gaming. :(

The release of new consoles will be great for PC. It means that the tech devs have at their disposal for console development is far closer to a top end PC than it ever has been. Furthermore the architecture of the new consoles is almost a PC anyway and should result in much easier ports to PC. I'm thoroughly looking forward to the next 12-18 months.

Mostly free to play, DOTA clones, MMO microtransactions ;)
Not these 5 all due in 2013 Aug-Nov ;)

Splinter Cell Blacklist (DX11, TXAA, Tessellation, HBAO+)
Batman Arkham Origin (DX11, GPU PhysX, TXAA, Tessellation)
Assassins Creed 4 (DX11, Tessellation, TXAA)
The Witcher 3 (DX11, GPU PhysX, Tessellation, FXAA, HBAO+)
Watch Dogs (DX11, Tessellation, TXAA)

But yeah I agree PC should get a lot more love from Nivida & others but when it costs £20m+ to make a decent triple aaa game you can see why the economics of PC only are getting tougher & tougher :(

All out 1 year after console releases no doubt apart from the witcher

I played Splinter Cell Blacklist (DX11, TXAA, Tessellation, HBAO+) today at the Nvidia Shield Expo. It was an older build, but it did look very good. It was a full and complete level. My first impressions were very good. The rep from Ubisoft was telling me how its progressed and it was demonstrated to me the stealth take downs, all of which looked very impressive. I played via controller only and the controls were pretty straight forward. One to look out for.

I even left with the game and a USB keyfob. The keyfob is shaped like a gun and in a nice splintercell metal box.

Result.

Nice freebie but would not want to pull that out near an armed policeman

Even though Michael Ironside has retired he actually took the time out a few months ago to visit the developers in Montreal & meet the new Sam Fisher. Ironside did not want to do the physical motion capture anymore & did not want to do it either on Conviction as he found the entire process frustrating.

I would still like him to voice Sam as who cares if his voice does not match the mocap work but he is happy to retire so thats its I guess :(

I still think Ubisoft not getting Ironside just to do the voiceover is going to hurt this game commercially way more than anything else though the new guy does not have the right voice he is just another bland & cheap TV actor
