Hi guys,

I have just sold my GTX 650 and am looking at getting a Gainward GTX 770 Phantom, however the cooler uses more than a dual slot. I was wondering if anyone knows if this will fit in a BitFenix Prodigy case.

Thanks!

Why not get a Gigabyte windforce instead? dual slot, better warranty and can be found cheaper if you look. Cant imagine there will be any difference in performance. The Phantom is factory overclocked like 13mhz more on the core than the Gigabyte.

My GTX 680 phantom would not fit inside a prodigy unless i removed the plastic surround around the cooler, and then it was up against the side panel, very close fit.

Looking at the 770, the cooler looks almost identical in height from pcb upwards compared to the 680 version.

They are very quiet though.

Hey Rich, your old GTX 680 phantom is running very nicely in my PC :)

Plenty of room inside my TJ09 though.

Can't believe how cool and quiet this card runs after using a GTX 480 for nearly 2 years :p

Very quiet aren't they? :)

Thanks for the replies.

That was the main reason I was looking at the 770 Phantom. I heard it was really quiet.

I was now looking at the MSI GTX 770 lightning...

What do you guys think about that? (mainly for gaming, single monitor) how noisy is it?
