Cover-up over hospital scandal, UK corrupt like a 3rd world country

The sooner you learn that:

Everyone is only out for them self.
Everyone is making it up as they go along, because plans fail all the time.
Most people don't care after 5:30pm

Life becomes simpler, but very jaded. :P

Not to be deliberately daft but would I be right in assuming that the hyperbole in the title is your opinion on the matter? I don't see anything in that article which suggests that corruption is endemic or that this is anything other than a (terribly mismanaged and unfortunate) isolated incident. If you've got further evidence then by all means bring it out but over-reacting (while perhaps fun at times) doesn't actually achieve much or make people inclined to believe what you do say even if you've got a good point.

I dont trust those in power anymore, when will people in this county will stand up.

Just a thought but say you made a massive mistake at work, wouldn't you try and cover it up or at least try and make it less of an impact?
I'm not saying it's right, just that it's human nature.
Those who have been caught out will/should be punished.

The other side of the coin is what actually happens to people who whistleblow when mistakes are made.
And what actually happens to people who make mistakes and are honest about them.

Well that happened in 2008 under labour, so its not surprising.

Failures happened under labour, given a clean bill of health in April 2010 (under labour in the run up to the election).
Given a damming report and threatened with closure due to its failures under the Tories 2011.

So if your question who do you trust to run the country based on that article then its the Tories surely?

Well that's interesting logic. Very faulty mind you.

Not based on the evidence the OP based his question on it isn't.

Tories came to power in may 2010.

Problems arose in 2008.

Clean bill of health given in 2010 in April ( the month before the election)

The trust was threatened with closure in 2011 due to its failures.

If that's the information he has given us to base our answer on, I don't see how it can be anything else.

How bad is our healthcare system going to get when we have private companies competing to be the cheapest at the bottom end of the market? Can this market be regulated effectively?
