I have only mouse + keyboard. and Im new to build pc.
I need a pc to do photoshop and image editing + online game and some game like Assassin's creed latest etc.

Is it good to buy pre-build pc from overclockers or buy parts and build it myself. thank you:rolleyes:

i don't have a monitor yet. and i already have windows 7. I'm planning to use this for the next 3 years or so. its better to go with i7 or i5? I will be doing work mainly on photoshop and lightroom. and some online game.

another question. if i follow this build. do i need to other extra cable or whatever? or i just need to order everything in the list and i will be able to make a pc up and running? sorry im new

Depends how much work you do on photohop/lightroom. Some parts of the applications are multi-threaded which would benifit from the i7 but if it's just light use (not mega heavy multitasking) the i5 will easily pull its wieght.

Internally, no.

Externally, you normally get a kettle lead with the PSU, though you will need a DVI/VGA/HMDI caable for your monitor.

I take if you didn't mean to spec the 4770 with a 970 AM3 board?

I think i see what he was doing. He was trying to spec an intel build with a.......... Silly boy.. :)
