From reading the reviews I would have to send it back to Canada at my own expense for an RMA! Also it's only semi-modular, Seasonic X750 is winning so far.
Works the other way; you'll have to find the psu and then check. There are other brands as good as Seasonic. Enermax is one I would happily recommend. I think the individual models at good prices with a decent review (from a good reviewer) from strong brands like CWT would also be a fine call.
I recommend Seasonics and other vendors that sell SS as their own models, like XFX.
But I can not to mention that I've bought OCZ SXS-600W few years ago and it suffered for coil whine (like many others BTW, SS too), so I RMAed it and they've sent me on PowerSwap warranty basis another one... and it was surprise once packet has been opened - Z-Series 850W replacement.
Since then I like OCZ very much
I've got this Z-Series 850 until now, and I'm happy. I was SLIing graphic cards few times, it's pretty good PSU. Once... it was short blackout (for about 1 sec) in the neighborhood - all electronic devices turned off: all PCs, TVs, radios, tuners.. except my PC with this OCZ.
Edit: not true with RMA to Canada. I've sent it out to Netherlands via Parcel2Go which is the cheapest courier I know.
I've had good results with OCZ, Aside from the ones using CWT units which were pretty dire - some people have had poor results with the FSP Epsilons but not had those issues myself.
XFX would be fairly low down on my list (despite the brand of the internals) tbh theres definitely a lot of better makes to choose from at the very least.
Definitely need to bookmark that for future reference - every single PSU I've ever had problems with is made by CWT according to that :S interestingly all the ones I'd rate highly are made by Impervio.
