I recall taking the train whilst on crutches, as I had surgery on my hip some months prior. I had great difficulty holding on to the support beam, and yet no one was prepared to part with their seat, until an old gentleman got up and offered me his. A true exception to the rule.
Will soon be starting to commute properly to a lovely part of birmingham, not looking forward to that

School children - I don't like that at the best of times and like them even less when on a train.
Pregnant women and old pensioners.

Over 65 women
Over 65 men who look like they may have fought in a war
Pregnant or carrying an infant
Disabled
Disqualifiers: obesity, being a minority, looking gay.

This x9000.It drives me insane when people take up two or more seats on trains due to them sitting in the aisle seat or having bags on their seats- especially when it is peak time.
I am similar, I give up my seat to old or pregnant people. It drives me insane when people take up two or more seats on trains due to them sitting in the aisle seat or having bags on their seats- especially when it is peak time.
