I struggle to wake up to my alarm...?

I keep the curtains open in the summer. Sunlight helps me get up sounds a simple thing but took me ages to finally realise this ! In the winter I have an alarm clock with one of those lights that slowly light up the room. As gimmicky as it sounds it has helped me 100% I never have an issue getting up anymore.

Change your alarm noise to this, it is impossible to sleep to this song.

Used to get me out of bed at the worst times of day to get into uni (well with the worst hangovers at any rate). Need to bring it back soon as I am having the same problems sleeping in this humidity.

Yep, go to bed earlier. I used to go to bed at 1/2 in the morning and always struggled to get up, now I go to sleep at 11/12 and always wake up 7ish with no alarm.

I'm totally the opposite, I'll wake up from pretty much any noise. I used to have an alarm clock with one of these loud BEEP BEEP sounds, gave me a heart attack every morning.

Now I use the smart alarm on my phone, a low soft soothing sound pulls me out of my sleep minus the heart attack.

I use sleep cycle app on my phone, which is meant to wake you up in your lightest period of sleep within a given hour or so. Seems to do the job ok. Though I'd rather air raid sirens went off, the curtains were thrown open and someone chucked ice cold water in my face every morning.

Why should you have to put up with this though? Out of the millions of people looking for work, just choose another who doesn't have this "disorder" and who doesn't impact the business through not turning up on time.

Yeah. Those disabled ******s. **** 'em.

Get a louder alarm.

This will just make you more grumpy. The best solution is use a smartphone app that monitors sleep and gradually increases the alarm by starting approx 30mins before the scheduled alarm (which is really the best time to start waking you up as your body exits deep sleep).

This way you wake up feeling awake rather than semi-dead.

It's not about though really. I had people working for me that may have had issues but they always turned up on time. Those that don't got reprimanded for it. Whatever your issues if you need to be at work at a certain time, be there.

Of course there are mitigating circumstances that you can accept from time to time. But some of my staff that used to be constantly late in the morning were given the option to move to afternoon only shift or showed the door.

A wild solution appears:

~~ MAKE ANIME PART OF YOUR MORNING ROUTINE ~~

Instructions for use:

10. FAP to cartoons (THEY ARE NOT CARTOONS DAD, YOU JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND)
20. GOTO 10
30. GOSUB {better life}

Preceisely. Business waits for no man. And no-one is unexpendable.
