Gaming PC. £1000 - -

Can some helpful mates spec me a £1000-- with everything. i only have keyboard and mouse. I would like to have some good motherboard (i5?) and gpu . which can be upgraded easily in the future. the rest i can just upgrading slowly when i have more cash.

i also prefer a good case so i can keep for a few years and no ssd at the moment. thank you

The motherboard will allow you to crossfire or sli at a later date .

Get rid of the Retail chip and use the OEM and use the extra £7 on a little better heatsink.

OEM has 1 year warranty, Retail has 3 years warranty

Maybe I go with a cheaper case to bring the cost down abit more? Or it's worth it to keep that case ?

The case is quality but its up to you , you could also drop the gpu from a 7950 to a 7870 xt which can come close to 7950 performance.

All the cabled will some with the motherboard, including an SLI/xFire bridge. If you feel you need a wireless adapter get one. If you have a LAN cable, use that instead.

You wont require any more cables but if you wont to go wirless you will need a network card, i will add one to your order.

If you do not wish to add another gpu in crossfire you could ge ta cheaper motherboard. The motherboard below comes with a free cooler as well.

I'm not planning in overcloked. And should I get a second gpu in the future ? 1 gpu enough for gaming for the next 3 years?

One 780 would be yes.

No one can tell you the future but the 7950 will see you well for the next few years.

What you are paying the extra on the motherboard, is the ability to crossfire if games become more demanding.

The MSI boards have auto overclocking so with a push of a button it will overclock your system for you.

Can I have a shopping list with a 780 in please. The choosing part is abit confusing as I'm new. I'm worried I messed up the list if I choose it myself. Cheers

The cheapest 780 is £540 which will add another £320 to the build, and you will need a bigger power supply.
