Any ideas what has caused the issue? I'm running everything at stock. Thanks!

Have you looked at the dump file?

If you download use BSOD Viewer, you can analyse the dump file and it should give you a google link to finding a fix.

Hi,

This is what it shows,

F4 is hdd/ssd related bsod

What drives are you running? If crucial m4 run ssdlife and see what fw and hours use if 5400 hours then flash the firmware to the latest version to fix it

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I'm running a Samsung 840 250GB non pro. It's in SATA port 1 with AHCI enabled. Any idea what could be causing it?

I've seen a few issues with gigabyte x87 and ssd's I think it could be BIOS related, you might need latest BIOS or try the marvel ports temporarily till it gets resolved

Thanks I'm assuming my board has marvel ports? Will I lose any performance?

I've updated to the F5 beta FW for my board, I've installed the latest SSD FW. Reaseated RAM.

I've been running it two hours now and all appears okay no BSOD. I've ran a bench on my HDD dies this look correct?

Just had another one tonight and it always does it when I'm running origin! It seems to freeze my computer and the HDD light constantly lights up, I then get a BOSD and then a reboot, could my drive be duff?

I've got a replacement drive coming on the 25th, can anyone suggest anything else that may be the cause? Any help would be great, thanks! :)

I've had it at default and overclocked, was getting the same error at stock. Really getting fed up with it now.

that board uses all intel sata ports

updated all your drivers from gigabyte website? cant think whatelse you can try, lets hope a new hdd cures it,still could be early bios bug that needs fixing, not sure

you could install the intel rapid storage drivers, that will help increase ssd speeds slightly over the standard Microsoft drivers

Thanks mate, I'm hoping the SSD thing sorts it! Do I need to enable RAID in the BIOS? Pretty sure its turned off. I've just updated all of my drivers just to be sure from the GB website, SSD FW and BIOS up to date as well.

no your ok,i think its set to ahci mode as default on gigabyte boards which is the best regarding ssd performance

id try the rapid storage drivers off giga site
