Cooler on gtx780

Hi does anyone know what the cooler is like on the gtx 780

or would i be best to go for the more expensive gigabyte version with the 3 fans.

I already have a 670 gigabyte 3x and its a great card much better that the ref version i had first.

I have the evga 780 and the cooler is nice and does an ok job...
playing bf3 with settings on high, temp goes to 73ish. idle sticks at 35.
using drivers 320.11.

I assume the gigabyte cost a little more cause it's the over clocked version too..

Ref cooler is ok even with moderate overclocks. Noise isn't bad. Don't have the windforce 780 but the 670 one I had was quite loud with the fans kicking above 60%. A lot will be down to your fan profile. I have a waterblock on mine so noise isn't an issue (neither are temps).

Thanks for the advice guys i think im going to go with the gigabyte one as im very pleased with the noise levels of the one i have now.

Just have to get saving. How much does a gtx 670 windforce sell for these days.

kinda got me wishing i went for the 780 windforce now

the 670 windforce on ocuk is £289.99 i beleive.
