Do you think you could torture another person under any circumstances?

I know I could. If anyone abused my children I would quite happily torture them to death.

Absolutely. If someone seriously harmed a person I cared about, I'd happily torture that person. I am not saying I'd recreate a scene from Hostel or Saw necessarily, but I'd make the person suffer.

I'd also torture those who commit treason against the nation.

Depends on the torture. I would tie someone to a chair and keep them awake playing 'Banana phone' over and over again LOL.

My honest answer is I am not sure as I have never thought about it till just now.

As for the OP, no I don't think I could torture someone. If someone did something to someone I cared a lot about and it was horrific I imagine I could end it quickly for them, but torture them for my own entertainment. No I don't think I could or would want to.
