if i can what shold i fill it with

Don't see why not, give everything a good flush out, use a pre-mix EK Clear £5.60 job done. My loop is filled with it over a year old now, still clear no change in temps.

No and no.

Its a closed loop cooler. where would you plan on filling the h50 from anyway? there is no fill port and no way of getting rid of the air from the cooler.

Purchase a new one.

How would you fit new pipe to the radiator and pump?

It doesnt use re-usable fittings, the tubes look bonded in somehow?

If the tubes are replaceable you could always add in a small res for filling and bleeding.

I have done this in the past even had a small res added but i wouldn't recommended it...

If your going to go through all that trouble you might as well just do a full custom loop.

Of course you can refill it, just put a t connector in and a fill pipe.

Not something that we would recommend, but it has been done before, it'll simply void your warranty, which is a big loss. At the end, I don't think it's worth the time and effort.

i was thinking aof useing ether wire ties or a compression ring it already has a split pipe so no loss there

Not really sure how the pump will do when you add a res in the loop. Keep in mind that the pump was specifically spec'd for that designed loop, adding a res may affect its optimal cooling capabilities.

At any rate, here is an example of an H50 modified. It'll probably give you some idea on the liquid mixture and the tubes that were used.

If you going to refill it use a 5% mix glycol as this is what is in the system already. Some thing like Xt1.

More space required, more hassle, and above all, more cost for what gain?

Sure adding a bigger radiator will improve temps but its well known the single 120 rads on the closed loops are more than adequate for overclocking.
