Thickest 240MM rad that will fit in 600T?

Hi guys, anyone know what the maximum rad thickness I can have in the top of a 600T is before it interferes with the heatsinks on my P8Z68-V Pro?

Or would a 240 in a 600T clear the mobo heatsinks and I should be worrying about RAM clearance?

Any advice appreciated :)

Reason for asking is that I dont have my 600T yet, and it would be good to start looking for a rad in good time :)

30mm. If you are lucky.

I had to move mine to the top section of the case and put the fans above the mobo as the maximus extreme didn't fit with the rad there.

you can fit a slim 240 in their mate with the fans mounted on the outside under the top mesh.

You might be lucky if your motherboard heatsinks and the ram are both low profile enough to allow the fans to be mounted in the case but I wouldn't bet on it.

You can fit a really thick 240 at the front though or even a 200mm

I'm now having wacky thoughts about modding a 360MM slim rad into the top.

There are so many mod logs where people have done it that it shouldn't be too difficult :D

The 'funny' thing is, I had a 360MM rad that would have fitted...
I sold it to fund the 280MM radiator I bought for my K62, which now won't fit in this 600T

I have ordered one of those H100's to 'tide me over' until I have all of the parts/confidence/advice needed to do the loop in the 600T, but i'll admit, that I am sorely tempted to just stick with the H100 until I have the funds to get a new GPU with a full-cover block, 360MM/240MM radiator + 200MM radiator, 3x GT's, a D5 bay/res combo etc etc and end up with something a bit like this: http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/6208/sdc10326medium.jpg

But then again, if i'm going to that, whats stopping me from getting the D5 bay/res and top rad first, and expanding later... Decisions decisions...

That build is a real stunner. The 600T is a nice looking case, just could have been thought out better.

The log below is one I helped my mate with, he used a h100i in it so it will give you an idea of clearances. Im even in one of the pics :D

Thanks for the link, i'll have a look :)

I found this pic, it uses the same case, cooler, RAM, board, fans, lighting, number of drives, drive cage layout and braided cables as I have bought/am going to buy. :D http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5342/7196125736_bd43f4dd6f_c.jpg

Hoping to make the cable runs in my build a little bit tidier if possible though. And of course i'll be adding a custom loop at some point, and then expanding it at a later date.

*edit* I really like the look of your mates rig :D The cables in his are routed how I would do it. So I suppose my end result will look like a hybrid between his and that pic I linked :p

Kinda a spoiler for my build log eh. Haha

I got a koolance 360 in my top with light hacking, and removed the HDD bays and put a x6 magicool hexa rad in there instead.

Haha, i'm well aware of your little project :)

HURRY UP AND FINISH IT ALREADY! :D :(

I didn't, I got sucked into the Corsair offer. :p

I'm going to leave W/C untul I can get a new GPU and afford to do the whole loop properly, instead of making a mediocre one and then completely switching it out.

Check build in sig if you want to see :)

Eventually I want a full loop with a 240 and a 200, a D5, a bay-res and pastel blueberry coolant. :)

Just got the 600t I absolutely love it, going to be looking at getting bits for it soon. That project log is amazingly beautiful
