doubt that would be an issue these daysPrisoners in Scotland were allowed to donate blood until 1984, when it emerged some people who had received transfusions from inmates had died from Aids and hepatitis C.
as long as its screened properly, i dont know how much more likely it is the blood could have "nasties" in from DIY tattoos or unprotected butt sex for example (the kind of things they ask about when you give blood).
Blood is Blood. We are always in need of supply.
Should be forced to.
or offer them an incentive like people get time off for good behaviour.
if good behaviour + donate blood give them an extra day each time they give blood as well as what they would normally get for good behaviour.
only let people with good behaviour give blood.
I don't see why we don't just drain all their blood to use on those citizens who don't break the law.
If it's usable blood, then I have no problem with it. They're giving something back to society.
Blood is Blood. We are always in need of supply. If the prisoner volunteered willingly I don't see how anybody could have a rational argument as to why not

i imagine the amount of screening needed would be excessively high.
Given that the questionnaire still has basically "are you gay/bisexual male" on it, I'm guessing most of it is not screened or else that would be unnecessary.
