Made fun of for wearing driving gloves?

Lately I've taken to wearing driving gloves because it's been really hot lately and my hands have been getting really sweaty on the steering wheel. yesterday I was driving down the road and these people passed me in another car and were pointing and laughing at me, and do an exaggerated "steering gesture" and laughing. I shrugged it off and go to the shop where I was going, parked and got out. Right then someone walking past said "nice gloves" in a sarcastic manner and started laughing

The weird thing is I often wear a cravat and am always slightly on guard that someone might say something about it, but nobody has ever batted an eyelid.

I was once ridiculed for wearing my leather gloves in winter because it was cold, while driving. 'Ha ha leather driving gloves' my passenger said, I think some people are just morons.

You should always have a pot of vaseline handy. Hold that up in one hand, then clench the other hand into a fist and wink at them, suggestively.

I suggest that you wear nothing apart from a skimpy leather suit modelled on your driving gloves. That will serve two beneficial purposes - your accessories will match your clothing and far fewer people will notice your gloves.
