How to stay in the friend zone with a girl?

Probably not the best of forums to ask this but here goes anyway. I work at a chinese supermarket and everyday i see cute girls walk in through the door. However i am taken man, 2 years now with my gf and very happy. I like having friends and meeting new people but i know from experience its too easy to wonder off the friend zone and into the forbidden zone.

A girl came in the other day and basically walked right upto me (damn cute again!! argh!) and asked for my number. I've seen her a few times before and chatted a few times. Now i don't wanna sound big headed or anything but just incase she thinks more than just friends, how do i keep it in the friend zone? Do i tell her straight up? I think she would be awesome a friend and could potentially unlock even more friends by just getting to know her.

I feel like im playing with fire but of course im not going to do anything stupid! I really just wanna get to know her and hopefully grow into a good friendly relationship where we can have a good laugh.


So help me out here, how do i go about doing this??? What have you done from experience?

I've never played the game to get into the friend zone, only out of it lol.
 
So you want to 'stay in the friend zone' with this girl, yet the only information about her you thought worth sharing was that you've seen her a few times and that she's 'damn cute'.

So, why do you want to get into the friend zone again?!
 
No no seriously im not trolling or taking the ****. I genuinely want to stay in the friend zone!


She's a student who shops regularly with us. She's from china, doing a masters degree. Tbh i don't know much about her... she even knows that i have a girl friend cos i told her shortly after her getting my number but she still seems... eager to get to know me kind thing.

I just want some advice on how to keep in the friend zone. What not to do and what to do kinda thing.

I take it these are Chinese girls?

1) If your current gf is already Chinese, then just tell the girls you already have a gf and they'll back straight off, if they don't then you have to be straight with them and tell them you want to be friends, Chinese girls don't do subtlety

2) If your gf is English, dump her and go out with the Chinese girls, they make far far far better gfs then anyone else and you'll be loads happier, trust me on that!!!

My current gf is chinese and much cuter still! Which is why i just wanna be friends with the ones i meet. Plus my current gf knows me inside out.. literally. I know what you mean though, they make fine fine gf's haha
