I got chance to take a couple of quick videos of the cars this week. I'll have the GT500 one up soon as well.

When I finally get some time to sit down, I'll do a full write up of all the cars for your perusal

Awesome videos, the Aston just sounds angry and the MP4 sounds like a hugely powerful bike when you give it the beans.

Where was the camera mounted and what camera?

Awaits the GT500.

I used a GoPro Hero 3 Silver to take the videos. Both videos were taken with the camera mounted on the rear bumper.

I dont like the Aston sound at all, sounds like most modern sports cars, over processed and I have said it a few times.

Really? I've never heard any sports car that sounds like an Aston V8 and I'd certainly not call that sound over processed. You did notice I have the videos and pictures the wrong way around right?!

Then again, it doesn't sound like a GT3, that I'll give you

GoPro's are superb for this purpose, I even had the open back on it which increases wind noise significantly.

Many cars sound better than a GT3 but I don't like the current trend of companies tuning the sound of their cars to make them sound as people think they should sound and I think Aston are one of the worst. I know many people like them, I just don't as I think they don't sound right to me.

This is why I want to hear the Shelby, no messing their, just a true gorgeous un-fiddled soundtrack. Though if its stock it could be alarmingly quiet.

Don't get me wrong my Mustang had that yank V8 rumble standard, but some long tube headers and fiddling of the exhaust just made it sound immense, then combined with the wine of the super charger.

Stupidly fast acceleration (30-70 in 2.75s, 30-80 in 3.5s), can only imagine what the Shelby with 700+ goes like.

That's mine, from the front you get supercharger and the rear raspy/V8 muscle.

One of the 911 with the stock PSE and stock cats:-

Shall do a new one at somepoint as now with X51 and high-flow cats its louder and more aggressive sounding.

sadly, these videos are of the wrong end of the car. The engine is what I want to hear, not the exhaust.
