Any Dell U2412M gamers here?

I do own this display and I do game.
Unfortunately I cannot give you a comparison with the inferior image quality TN based screens :)
I've just never owned one.
I'm not seeing any issue with lag nor ghosting - but I came from a 5yr old Dell display that was also 1920x1200 and I didn't have an issue with that one.

I think the general consensus is that if you demand the most fluid movements with zero lag and zero ghosting then the 120hz/144hz TN panels are the way to go.

I'm currently on a very old Hyundai N220W LCD screen. As long as I don't get any more ghosting than that (which is none IMHO), I'll be happy...

note: I'll be connecting via VGA due to using a KVM switch so 120hz+ isn't an option. 60fps is fine for me :)

I game on mine, it's great for gaming, lots of colour and its a great size/image quality.

I had a TN syncmaster (20") before that which was also good for gaming, but the colour quality was much lower. Have never noticed the difference between the 2/3ms response time difference between the two so always go for the better quality ips screen if you have the option ;)

I've got one and i just bought a benqXL2411T, so i can only compare these.

I think most of the people commenting on how good the dell is came from an old TN display, and to me, color and clarity of the desktop is similarly good on the benq as the dell. The viewing angles aren't much better [if at all] on the dell either. Black levels are better on the Dell though.

So overall, i'd get u2412M over a 60hz TN. But if you can scrape the money together for a newer 120[144]hz display, it'l have much bigger impact on you.

Then in my opinion your choices would be the Dell or something with a TN panel also at 60hz.
In which case the IPS screen for it's higher quality of image and more vibrant colours.

And none of you guys suffer from:-
- Bleeding/mis-coloured corners (IPS glow)? Seems this might only be an issue if you site close to the screen?
- White text on black/dark background? Seems some people complain this can look very bad?

Well I don't sit close to my display - so can't comment on that part.
However as for the rest - no...no issues at all with the display. I went out of my way to find a good quality IPS panel, refuse point-blank to go the washed out TN route.
